Malik Boyd, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically found dead on April 21, 2022, near Albemarle Road Elementary School in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious person on Riding Trail Road, where they discovered Boyd with apparent trauma. Despite efforts to save him, Boyd succumbed to his injuries shortly after being found.
