Daquarius Malik Jackson, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 12, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Avalon Avenue and Glenwood Drive in the Enderly Park neighborhood. Officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon and found Daquarius suffering from a gunshot wound.
