Kyyri De Ji Marquis Doggette, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 8, 2017, in Charlotte, North Carolina. On that fateful evening, officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department discovered Doggette inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred around 7:18 p.m. on the 6700 block of E. Independence Blvd. Despite the efforts of emergency medical personnel, Doggette was pronounced dead at the scene.
