On May 20, 2022, Darrell Ford, a 32-year-old man from Fairmont, NC, tragically lost his life due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred as a result of an ongoing family dispute. Darrell Ford was found in the driveway of his residence suffering from gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead at UNC Health Southeastern's medical center.
