Sarah Baxter, a 30-year-old woman from Lexington, NC, was tragically killed on June 22, 2022. The Davidson County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting on Becky Hill Road after receiving a 911 call from Christian Everhart, a 25-year-old man who claimed he had shot an intruder who had broken into his home. Upon arrival, deputies found Sarah Baxter dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Further investigation revealed that Baxter had been a guest at Everhart's residence and had spent the ...
