On July 31, 2022, 28-year-old Ishmeal Bash was found with a gunshot wound on Wallingford Street in southwest Charlotte, North Carolina. Officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene around 8:30 p.m. and discovered Bash, who was then transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.

The investigation into Bash's death revealed that he was shot inside a motel room at the Quality Inn on Wallingford Street. ...
