Joe Bay Galicia, an 18-year-old Latino male, was tragically shot and killed on August 30, 2022, in Charlotte, NC. The incident occurred at an apartment complex on Rose Ridge Place, where Joe and his 20-year-old brother, Gary Galicia, were both shot. Joe died at the scene, while Gary was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to his injuries on September 3, 2022. The brothers were reportedly out to pick up food for their family when the shooting occurred.
