Douglas Antonio Burgess, a 46-year-old African American male, tragically passed away on August 23, 2022, in Lenoir, North Carolina. He was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a vehicle located on Harpertown Drive. The shooting incident was reported on a Tuesday evening, and upon arrival, deputies from the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office discovered Burgess deceased in his vehicle.
