Kent Austin Taylor, a 15-year-old male from Lenoir, North Carolina, tragically passed away on April 10, 2015. Born on November 15, 1999, in Burke County, Kent was the son of Charlene Adams Taylor and the late Bill Junior Tester. He was a student and a member of the Baptist faith. Kent's untimely death occurred when he was accidentally shot at an apartment on Atwood Drive in Lenoir. The Lenoir Fire Department and Caldwell County EMS responded to the scene and pronounced him dead.
