Curtis Lamont Melvin, a 50-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on December 3, 2022, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Orange Street, a residential area off Ramsey Street. According to reports, officers from the Fayetteville Police Department responded to calls of shots being fired and found Curtis Lamont Melvin with multiple gunshot wounds outside a residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
