In the summer of 1977, a crime spree by two escaped convicts brought tragedy to the small town of Franklinton, Louisiana. Ray Jones, a 65-year-old male, was one of the victims in a double murder that shook the community. On June 28, 1977, Jones and his companion, 66-year-old Alton Wilson, were reported missing. Their disappearance was part of a violent chain of events that spanned multiple states.
