Juanita Jo Jones, a 32-year-old woman, was tragically shot in the head during a robbery at a Circle K convenience store in Haughton, Louisiana, on November 13, 1989. She succumbed to her injuries five days later. At the time of her death, Juanita was working multiple jobs to save up enough money to operate her own restaurant, Down Home Barbeque, full-time.
