Captain Octavio Rafael "Ox" Gonzalez, age 40, was a dedicated officer with the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana. On June 16, 2006, he was tragically shot and killed while participating in a manhunt for two suspects who had earlier shot and wounded another deputy.
