Chester Joseph Tootie Reeder, a 25-year-old male from New Orleans, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on May 26, 2009. The incident occurred on May 24, 2009, in the 1400 block of Ptolemy Street in Algiers, New Orleans. According to police reports, Reeder was involved in a verbal altercation with two unidentified men, which escalated to the point where the suspects shot him. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
