Kayla Peters, a 12-year-old girl from Kenner, Louisiana, was found dead on July 12, 2011, alongside her mother, Nadia Braxton, and her two younger siblings, Nayah Peters, aged 1½, and Nyla Peters, aged 6 months. The tragic incident occurred in their home, where all four victims were discovered with fatal gunshot wounds.
