LaTonya Jones, a 30-year-old African American woman, was found dead in her Shreveport, Louisiana home on February 6, 2012. Her body was discovered in a bloodied bathtub, and her 3-year-old son was present at the scene. The tragic incident left the young boy without both of his biological parents, as his father had been murdered in 2008.
