Kiran Jamal Harris, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 12, 2013, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Harris was shot while in the 1800 block of Laharpe Street in the Seventh Ward during Mardi Gras. He was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
