In Lake Charles, Louisiana, a young man's life was unexpectedly cut short in the winter of 2013. Erick Alexander Perez, a 20-year-old male, died on Thursday, December 26, 2013, in his own residence. His death was the result of what was later determined to be an accidental shooting. At the time of his passing, Perez was a husband to Shannen Barron Perez and a father to their son, Vincent Alexander Perez.
