Michael Rogers, a 52-year-old man from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, died on January 31, 2014. His death was the result of a murder-suicide involving his son-in-law, Matthew Hodgkinson. Hodgkinson shot Rogers before turning the gun on himself. The incident was later declared a murder-suicide by Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi.
