Atiba Pilart, a 40-year-old African American male, passed away on March 15, 2014, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Known affectionately as "Cat Daddy," Atiba was a beloved son, father, and brother. He was survived by his mother Dorthea N. Pilart, his companion Trevis Wallace, and his children Ta'Wane Williams and Akey'lah Wallace. His death was met with an outpouring of grief from family, friends, and the community.
