On a spring day in New Orleans, a life was tragically cut short, leaving a family to grieve and a community to seek answers. Dion Dewon 'Nupea' Johnson, a 21-year-old male, was shot and killed on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. The incident that claimed his life unfolded at the Untouchable Car Wash located on Chef Menteur Highway. Johnson was an employee at the car wash and was detailing a customer's vehicle at the time of the fatal encounter.
