In the late hours of an autumn evening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a young man's life was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence. Hancy Sanchez, a 24-year-old male, was outside his apartment on Bayou Fountain Avenue on October 5, 2014, when he was approached by two individuals. What began as a seemingly innocuous request to use his cell phone quickly escalated into a fatal robbery.
