In the late hours of a Tuesday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 33-year-old Stanley Wright was brought to a violent and abrupt end. On September 20, 2022, in the parking lot of the Sherwood Place Apartments off Coursey Boulevard, Wright was found shot to death. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, which is handling the investigation, has stated that they believe the shooting was not a random act of violence, but rather a targeted attack.
