Darren Kenneth Dedeaux, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 21, 2015, in Metairie, Louisiana. Darren was shot in the chest and neck outside a bar in Metairie, and despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred days before his death, and the community was left in shock and mourning.
