David Dore, a 47-year-old male from Houma, Louisiana, died on April 7, 2015. His death was a result of suicide, which occurred just before he was set to stand trial for an aggravated rape case dating back to 1986. In 2011, Dore was arrested and charged with the aggravated rape of a 30-year-old woman in Abbeville, Louisiana.
