Jare Stevenson, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on June 23, 2015, in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Stevenson was one of two victims in a double homicide that shocked the quiet community. The other victim was Shannen Hudson, also known as the rapper Young Ready. Both men were found dead in a car on City Limits Road, each having been shot in the back of the head. The incident occurred in the afternoon, transforming the usually peaceful area into a sprawling crime scene.
