On a tragic Wednesday morning in Shreveport, Louisiana, the life of James Shivers, a 28-year-old Black male, was cut short. On September 9, 2015, Shivers was discovered inside a residence located in the 400 block of Abilene Street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Emergency services transported him to University Health, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
