On October 18, 2015, Kaleb Gibson, a 21-year-old Black male from Crowley in Acadia Parish, Louisiana, was fatally shot during a gathering at the intersection of North Avenue B and West Second Street around 2:00 a.m. Two gunshots were fired into the crowd, resulting in his death.
