Linton Batiste, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 27, 2015, in Lafayette, Louisiana. The incident occurred in an apartment on Congress Street, where Batiste and 17-year-old Antonio Means were present. According to police and witness reports, Travis Jenkins, aged 21, entered the apartment without permission.
