Reginald Black, a 17-year-old African American male from Harvey, Louisiana, was tragically killed on May 5, 2016. The incident occurred as Reginald, his 15-year-old nephew, and their friend Ivory Franklin were walking along a drainage canal in Harvey's Woodmere subdivision. During this walk, Franklin brandished a pistol and shot Reginald in the back of the head, resulting in his immediate death.
