Alonzo Orville Wiley, a 35-year-old African American man from Harvey, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on December 5, 2021. Known affectionately as "Zomula," Wiley was a beloved barber and entrepreneur who owned The Grooming Gallery, a successful barbershop in Gretna, Louisiana. He was well-regarded for his charisma, generosity, and positive impact on those around him.
Wiley's death occurred during an armed robbery in a motel room at the Travelodge on the Westbank Expressway in Harvey.
