On the morning of June 13, 2022, 54-year-old African American man Larry Miller Jr. was found shot multiple times in his home on Lac St. Pierre Drive in Harvey, Louisiana. Deputies from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting around 9 a.m. and discovered Mr. Miller deceased at the scene. At the time, authorities had not released information regarding suspects or motives.
