Victor J. Stanfill, a 19-year-old male from Fulton, Maryland, tragically lost his life on May 10, 2016, during a live-fire training exercise at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Stanfill, who was serving as an infantryman with Company A, 2nd Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, was pronounced dead at approximately 11:08 a.m. at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital on Fort Polk.
