Brouklynn Walter Hill, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 21, 2016, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Hill was found deceased in a burning vehicle on Disette Road in Carencro, a small town within Lafayette Parish. The discovery was made by Carencro firefighters who were called to extinguish the vehicle fire. Hill's body was identified by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Department, and it was confirmed that he did not own a car.
