On August 8, 2016, 42-year-old Armando Salgado, a Hispanic male from New Orleans, Louisiana, was fatally shot during an attempted robbery. Salgado had arranged to meet two individuals to sell a PlayStation 4 gaming console, which he had advertised online. The meeting took place in his car, where the prospective buyers, both 18-year-old males, joined him in the back seat.
