Laquintina Qualls, a 24-year-old African American woman from Rayville, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on August 22, 2016, in West Monroe, Louisiana. The incident occurred at a Shell gas station located on LA-546 near I-20 at exit 108. The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots being fired inside the gas station.
