In the summer of 1993, a young man's life was tragically cut short on a street in Denver, Colorado. On the evening of July 20th, residents near East 33rd Avenue and Locust Street were startled by the sound of gunfire piercing the night. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a grim tableau. In a yard lay the bodies of 18-year-old Carlos Garcia and another young man, Robert Rudolph. Both had been shot to death.
