Corey Brooks, a 41-year-old African American male, passed away on September 7, 2016, in New Orleans, LA. Corey was the beloved son of Ella Brooks and the late Donald Lloyd Thompson Sr. He was raised by Mary Paul and the late Lawrence Pea Jr. Corey was a devoted husband to Demetria Young Brooks and a loving father to Jasmine Brooks, Tonsha Young, and She'Corey Young.
