Carreta Davis Starks, a 47-year-old woman from Laplace, Louisiana, tragically died on September 13, 2016, from a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at her residence on Oak Arbor Street. According to reports, her husband, Richard Starks Jr., called 911 around 2:10 a.m., claiming he had accidentally shot her during a domestic dispute.
