Tameka Robinson, a 39-year-old African American woman from LaPlace, Louisiana, was found dead on January 15, 2018. Her body was discovered near Louisiana 628 and Cardinal Street in LaPlace at approximately 3 a.m. She had been shot multiple times and left for dead. The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office identified her as the victim and launched a homicide investigation.
