Shamerle Adams, an 18-year-old Black female, was tragically killed on September 17, 2016, in Algiers, New Orleans. The Orleans Parish Coroner's office confirmed her identity following the incident. Shamerle's death was the result of a shooting, which left the community in shock and mourning.
