On October 22, 2016, Michael Johnson, a 44-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident took place in the French Quarter, near the Governor Nicholls Street Wharf. Michael Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the murder of Michael Johnson. The New Orleans Police Department continues to seek information from the public to aid in identifying any suspects involved in this case.
