Kayn Jontae Deshotel, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 28, 2016, in Jennings, Louisiana. Deshotel was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside his home on Spencer Street. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 5 a.m., when police received a 911 call reporting the shooting.
