Phadarius Danzell Hughes, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 31, 2016, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Hughes was found in the parking lot of the Briarwood Apartments, having suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He was discovered in the driver's seat of a small car that had collided with one of the apartment units. The vehicle had multiple bullet holes through the driver's side window and rear glass.
