Decoty Joseph, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 8, 2017, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred during a home invasion where the assailant forced his way into the house, demanding money and jewelry. During the confrontation, Decoty Joseph was shot and killed at the scene.
