In the warm spring of 2014, the life of 17-year-old Dwayne Matthew Joseph was tragically cut short on the streets of New Orleans. On the evening of May 26th, an altercation escalated to gunfire, and Dwayne was fatally wounded. The young man, who was raised by his great-grandmother, Catherine Robinson, was remembered by family and friends as a good kid who was active in his church and dedicated to looking after his younger siblings.
