Death by Force

Jaleel Bonham, a 22-year-old African American male from Lafayette, Louisiana, was found dead in his vehicle at Brown Park on September 18, 2017. The Lafayette Police Department reported that Bonham had suffered a gunshot wound, and his body was discovered at around 2 p.m. on the 1200 block of East Pont Des Mouton Road. The police indicated that the shooting appeared to be an isolated incident between Bonham and the suspect, whose identity remained unknown at the time.
