Percy James Rochester Jr., a 39-year-old resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, lost his life due to gun violence on October 31, 2023. The incident occurred in the early morning hours and involved a drive-by shooting.

During the shooting, Rochester Jr. sustained critical injuries, which ultimately proved fatal. He was pronounced dead as a result of the wounds he received.
