In the summer of 2023, the life of 18-year-old Joshua Wayne Cobb was tragically cut short in Lafayette, Louisiana. On the evening of July 9th, gun violence claimed the young man, leaving a community to mourn and authorities to piece together the events that led to his untimely death. Born on August 14, 2004, to Jonathon and Maranda Cobb, Joshua was remembered as a beloved son, brother, and friend with a kind and generous soul and a deep love for his family and the outdoors.
