Corporal Michael Paul Middlebrook, a 44-year-old white male, was tragically killed on October 1, 2017, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Middlebrook, who served with the Lafayette Police Department, was responding to a shooting at a convenience store near the intersection of Moss Street and Van Buren Street.
